For Primary Care Providers

Perhaps you have patients whose symptoms seem Neurologic, or Psychiatric, or Both. Maybe they’ve seen specialists, and each one gives opinions but no clear answers. These patients with Neuropsychiatric syndromes and symptoms continue to get worse no matter what you do. Maybe we can help.

We are trying to partner with Massachusetts based Primary Care Providers who are tired of the process of circular referral for common complaints, and whose patients are desperate for help they cannot get in the standard institutional medical model. Look at many of the most common conditions we evaluate, and you can also look at our articles and recommended resources share them with your patients if you find them relevant!

Currently, we are focused on two primary models.

In our shared medical appointment model (Central Mass Only), we have group meetings with 8-12 patients in each group. These groups meet every other week for at least 8 sessions (over 4 months) to rapidly adjust medications and to help patients learn about these complex syndromes. These shared medical appointments are covered under select insurances. In some cases, where primary care providers or specialists have close interest, we can even hold the appointments at the partner’s office. In many cases, we can optimize medications sufficiently during those 8 sessions that the primary provider can continue the prescriptions. In others, we offer to continue to provide and prescribe through one on one virtual Neuropsychiatry clinic appointments.

Our other model is a Neuropsychiatric Health Coaching model (World Wide), which is mostly designed for patients or families of patients who need more time than standard medical appointments can allow. This can both be a Pay-As-You-Go system for patients who have quickly addressed but complex questions about neuropsychiatric symptoms, or it can be a Concierge arrangement so that as symptoms evolve they have a readily available specialist who can discuss their symptoms and help your patients understand available treatments. Our Health Coaching Model is by definition separate from a patient/physician relationship and consequently will always be self-pay and will not involve direct ordering of tests or medications. However, if patients request it, we can make a summary available to their medical provider about the various tests and treatments we discussed in these educational sessions.

If you’d like further information about our services or to collaborate on complicated cases. Regardless of how we might help, we’d love to hear from you! Please complete the form below, and we’ll reach out to schedule a time to talk.
